Biography

I am a new amateur operator and still on the very steep part of the learning curve. I am from Jacksonville, Florida and as a teenager had a handheld Realistic CB radio which I could use to call people all over my local community.

I now live in Philadelphia PA, and have a family. Even though I have very little time for this habit, I recently decided that I wanted to get back into it anyway. I broadcast 100 watts and my antenna is a 150 foot wire dipole suspended about 40 feet in the air which limits my range. I have not had the time (or the smart friend) to start using any digital modes, so most of my time is spent on SSB listening to the 20M and 40M bands.

Please reach out via this website if you ever want to coordinate an on air conversation.

Take care and thanks for checking out my page.
