Biography

Avid with two way radio communications since I was 14 years old. Built and tested the first ever 11 meter SSB repeater of it's kind when I was about 20 years old. Stayed in the hobby for years after and slowly got away from it. Over the last four years I started getting back into the groove again after I discovered the program HamSphere. Last June or so I studied hard and sank the test for Technician Ham License which I am very proud to be within this unique group of enthusiast. Look forward working as many operators as possible on 10 meters. I run for now an RCI 2950 stock radio with a D104 mic., 1/2 wave hand built sloped dipole which so far I am highly surprised of it's performance to say the least! I will be building up radio station in due time with better equipment and antenna etc.so please look for me soon, 73 for now.

Equipment

Ranger RCI-2950(stock); Ranger AR 3500 (stock); Galaxy DX99V (stock); Collection of D104's and other vintage 11 meter radios. Antenna for now is a hand built 1/2 wave 10 meter sloped dipole measured at 28.000mhz. CushCraft R7000 vertical antenna to be installed on roof hopefully soon.
