US NAVY Veteran..1970-1974 Boiler tech..aboard USS TALBOT DEG-4...married 50 years.(update as of January 30th 2021 I lost my wife).three children three grandsons all grown up and 2 years ago my 1st.Great grandson..enjoy ham radio for years passed my extra in 2013..thanks to good ham radio guys like yourselves am I able to still enjoy this hobby...retired December 2015 so hopefully spend more time on air...73 from Pittsburgh PA...oh if you stop by my page ..SAY SOMETHING..don`t just look at it and move on..and I will make sure to stop by yours...thanks..and if you hear me and we have a qso and your on QRZ PLEASE confirm our contact..would like to pick some more awards..73

Running about a 20-year-old Icom IC-738...100 watts..using a Heil Proset headset that works great..keeping the radio happy I am using an MFJ-939I intellituner for antennas I an using a Windom 80 about 36feet on a field day extendable pole ..does very well..for 10/15/17/12 I have a 30-year-old Antron 99 one of the original ones..still works like new..for power I am using an Astron Rs-35a..I use no amp or anything I like using conditions and my equipment to make contacts..
