Biography
First licensed in the early 1960s as WB2DUL and worked 6 meters AM - 38 states and five countries on 20 watts.
Left hobby in the 1970s for a family, grad school and then a career in the electronics industry in USA, Europe & Asia.
Lived in Europe for 10 years managing electronic companies. During this time I was an active SWLer (FRG-7).
Returned to USA and continuing career in the electronics industry.
In my free time created and authored monthly column "Computers and Radios", and feature articles, in Monitoring Times, a monthly published magazine, for over 18 years.
Retired a number of years ago to rural New Hampshire. See pictures.
In 2022 returned to the hobby, first as General (Oct 2022) and then Amateur Extra (May 2023).
Collected many many ICOM, Yaesu and Kenwood transceivers over the years.
