Biography
First became licensed in April 2000, Waited almost 15 years to the date to upgrade to General.
Didn't realize that watching my father and grandfather when I was very young would lead me to Amateur Radio. You see both were involved in the Civil Defense(CD) communication. Very fond memories of watching both picking up an old handset and talking with people across the state and country.
Now I enjoy talking with other people and just having fun with it.
Was involved in Colorado ARES for 6 years and kinda got burned out, not fitting in to the political aspect of it. Don't take me wrong, it was a rewarding experience however sometimes one has to step back and reevaluate ones priorities.
Did some mentoring with BARC Jr's in Colorado and that was some of the greatest fun you can have, watching children learn, understand and then becomes Hams themselves.
Being retired and having a massive honey dooooooo list, I still find time to get on the radio and make a few contacts every now and then.
