Biography
Greetings,
My name is Frank Carbonara and I'm located in Mount Juliet, Tennessee.
In addition to amateur radio and electronics, I love to tinker with all sorts of things including motorcycles and automobiles.
I am a member of the Wilson Amateur Radio Club (WC4AR), a member of the W4EAO radio group (affiliated with Wilson County Emergency Management Agency (WEMA), as well as member of the Mount Juliet Simplex Society (KN4FKV).
For more information on the Mount Juliet Simplex Society visit our website at - https://146415.net/
My main HF rig that I am currently using is an Icom 7610 (100w) transceiver coupled to a multiband EFHW (80 thru 10 Meter) antenna. I also sometimes use a Mercury 3S HF Solid State Linear Amplifier.
My second rig is an ICOM 9700 (2M/70CM/23cm), currently being used with a Diamond X510HDM dual band antenna on an eve mount.
In my SUV, I am currently using an Icom ID 5100A dual band (VHF/UHF) FM/D-Star mobile, with a Comet CSB-790A roof rack mounted.
Thanks for visiting and I look forward to seeing you again on the bands.
