Biography

I have been in Amateur Radio since mid 1988. You can find me on OMISS and Century club nets and County Hunting net.

I run a Elecraft K3 and a Yeasu 991 for hf. Antenna is a triband yagi and a Alpha Delta sloper at 40 feet.

Running mobile I use Wolf River Coils with a Icom 7100. Wolf river coils are multi-band coils and I use 102 inch whips. (www.wolfrivercoils.com)

I use Ham Radio Deluxe software and JT65 and Multipsk for digital modes. Interface is SignaLink.

Awards are ARRL Honor Roll, 5BWAS, WAZ, WAC, and many Century club and OMISS awards. Mobile award first place Wisconsin QSO party

Multi-Operator Mobile 2008.

Am good in EQSL and Loogbook Of The World.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Icom 756PRO II and a Icom 746Pro. The 756 antenna are a log periodic (10-20) and a Alpha-Delta sloper (30-160). Thw 746 uses a Wolf River Coil on a shepard hook and a 102 inch whip for 40 meters. This is for a second radio on the County Hunter Net. The 756 uses W2IHY EQplus and 8 band audio equalizer. For audio I run all radio's to a behringer 802 mixer. (vhf radio's also) The 802 audio out is sent to a JBL LSR2325P amplifed speaker. Multi radio's with great sound set with low mid and high tones to my hearing. Can listen to multi radio's and my computer at the same time and turn on or off or raise or lower the audio gain for each radio.
