Biography

Started playing with wires & burning things up at 11yrs old. Had 2 main elmers in my teen years: my uncle Ed K8YJO-sk & my neighbor Don K8PSH-sk Played radio till abt 17. Then my attention was on my Harley(64 Panhead) & women! In the early 90s I got drug to a swap & came home with a Drake TR-4b. That started me back in ham radio all over again at 38. Exactly 20yrs later!

I'm a Master Electrician with the IBEW local#58. Single & have no children.
Work strickly SSB - have equipt for weak sig stuff 144mc to 1.2gig but its not on the air right now.
Enjoy fishing, critter watching, 2-tracking, snowmobiling & operating from my 2nd QTH off of Crooked Lake near Mio, Michigan.

80ft tower: Tri-Band FM vert & dipoles right now for: 160, 80, 60, 40 meters
Working on a low loop w/my Johnson KW tuner

Vacation home station: Icom 746pro, Ameritron AL-80A w/ATR-15 tuner, & 1-fan dipole for 160,80,40,15 @ 50ft
