Biography

Hi,

I live in North Lawrence Ohio about 15miles from the football hall of fame. I have been a ham since 1994 when I got my license (KB8RJE) when I was 13 years old as a memorial for my cousin Ryan KB8ICU passed away. I was active in my local amateur radio club and on 2m till I turned 19 and other things got in the way of the hobby. I am 42 now and now finally have some time to get back on the air. As of June 2022, I have my extra ticket and Just changed my call sign to N8PB.

I just got my dream rig FT-818 and I am using an all-band endfedz antenna. I know it sounds funny but I love the challenge of operating QRP backpacking or POTA or SOTA. Looking forward to activations.

I also have an Icom-7300 that I love to do FT8. And I just installed a zero five 80-10 ground plane antenna.
