Biography

Been a ham since 1987 but interested in Radio and SWLing going way back... I operate mostly CW but do enjoy most all modes. HF is my favorite. Chasing DX, collecting QSL cards and general rag chewing is what I like the best, Not into contesting, a good long QSO is the best reward for me but always happy to give a report... I love old machinery and farm equipment, I am into motorsports, Road Racing, F-1 and NASCAR do a little racing myself with my Porsche 911SC...I love building models, N scale model trains and playing Banjo (a work in progress)
I try to live life in harmony and peace and to the fullest... I am always looking for something new to do...
So I hope to QSO with you and together we can rag chew more about our interest...

Equipment

Everything I need old and new to talk to you! I love the old equipment and have a nice collection of old and new... From yesteryear to today, I have: An EICO 723 transmitter, The Drake B-Line twins, a Yaesu FT-101EE with FL-2100 Amp and matching speaker... Then an Icom IC-745, And now my brand new Yaesu FT-950... All I have for an antenna is a great home brew G5RV and I have worked the world with it!
