Biography

Ham since 1997, got a Technician license in college at WPI. After a 20 year break, recently added General and Extra, and setup a basic HF station in my house. Primarily active on FT8 / JS8Call on 40 meters, and sometimes on local 2 meter nets.

Equipment

Yaesu FT-450D, 40 meter dipole fed with 75ohm RG6 coax at 25 feet AGL. LDG YT-1200 Autotuner to a G5RV Jr in attic on other bands.

Yaesu FT-2980 to a ground plane attic antenna for local VHF.

Sometimes on DMR with an Baofeng RD-5R.
