Biography

Hamming since mid-later 70's.... still using my Icom 751A, Yaesu FT101ZD and other misc gear from years back.
Owner and operator of Mission Amps, musical instrument vacuum tube amplifiers www.missionamps.com and http://www.missionharpamps.com

Location:
Far northern edge of Commerce City, Colorado. NE of Denver, the Mile High City, COLORADO

Interests:
Vacuum tube amps, music, radios and flying. I still play music professionally and I am the drummer for one of Denver/Rocky Mountain's most popular blues band. Also, with respect to flying, I've been a private pilot since 1971 and still own an older Cessna 172.

Occupation:
Hollow State tech, vacuum tube, audio amp builder and part time musician.

Antenna System:
92' Dipole antenna in the attic, fed at 26' high with about 41 feet of "tuned" length 450 Ohm window line, terminated in homebrew 1:1 toroid "current choke" and then 52 more feet of RG8/U over to an MFJ-969 line tuner sitting on the HF rig here at my desk.
