Biography

Became a Ham in 1984 (KA8MNT) but due to outside forces, I walked away until 2018 Got my Tech Ticket (KE8KAU). I found out my original call was available so in November of 2018 I became KA8MNT again.

Professionally I was a Design Draftsman for 50 years. I was involved in various projects like electrical substation design, steel and aluminum enclosures for electric power companies, helped redesign RTA Buses to make them safer. Helped redesign Cement Mixers making them more efficient. I spent 15 years developing and designing material handling equipment. One of my last positions was to redesign a prototype of an All-Electric Postal truck for the US Post Office.

My hobbies are working with computers, photography, shooting sports, fishing, 3D Printing, and of course Amateur Radio.

I also volunteer teaching archery and fishing to kids.
