Biography

I have been licensed since 1961 with the same call, K9GTH. In 1982-83 I was licensed as VU2GTH while living in Hyderabad, South India. Now that I am retired I have more time for operating and I am enjoying being on the air daily. My favorite bands cover 40-10 meters on both CW and SSB. Most of my operating centers on DXing and once I improve on my antennas and equipment I look forward to making more contacts--DX and otherwise.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Yaesu FT-1000MP; Ameritron AL-811; windom for 40-10 meters; homemade 34 foot multiband vertical. I also have a collection of older tube equipment that I use primarily for CW and SWL.

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands. Click here and find out more about the project and how you can endorse it.
