Biography

I'm K9GA, George Armstrong.

I am an ASCAP, and NMPA recording artist and composer.

I retired from NALCO/ECOLAB and IBM. I currently manage grants for small colleges awarded by ECOLAB and IBM.

My passion: I play lead guitar and sing lead vocals. I also play the bass, and keyboards, and compose. I have written 6 novels, and I have one underway as of 2022. My music:

Equipment

On 160: Drake C Line with an MLA 2500 and a 160 Meter sloper. I use a rotatable loop to receive on 160. On higher bands, I use an FT-950. On 80 I have a Sloper system. A 40-meter Ground Plane, a 30-meter ground plane; 3-element yagi at 19 meters on 20, 15, and 10; a two-element yagi at 12 meters high on 12 and 17 meters. On 6 meters I have a 3-element yagi.
I use a Rigblaster on Digital. I also have an AL-811H I rarely use.
