Biography

Started out with single 6V6 oscillator in '62. Got nothing but harmonics,
so "graduated" to 6DQ5 transmitter, and started working stations. Enjoyed
the hobby back then, still do now. Finally got an ART-13 and thought I'd
died and gone to heaven. Big deal for 16 year old kid!

Mostly CW op here, with some VHF scatter tossed in for some seasoning.
Always enjoy SSB ops with friends here in Montana, plus run net every
Sunday morning on 75 meters.

I live out on the prarie here, nice, quiet location. Can build antennas
to my hearts' content. Will stay here.

Equipment

Using Icom 756 and a Pro III for most ops. Also have Drake TR-4 I fire up
once in a while. Plus, HB 4-1000A amp that I put together 30 years back.
Dont often use the amp, nice to have though. I collect old Vibroplex Bugs
and have several I enjoy using.

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
