Biography

I obtained my Tech in November 2012, My general in February 2013. Then purchased HF equipment in March and got my Extra in July 2013. Main rig is Yaesu 857 feeding 100 watts into a ground mounted Gap Challenger Antenna.

I've lived in Oregon, Alaska and Utah. I was a SWL for many years in Alaska.

I am a practicing lawyer here in Salt Lake.

My next project is to get digital capabilities and learn the code.

Equipment

Yaesu 857 feeding 100 watts into a ground mounted Gap Challenger antenna. Also have a Yaesu 6R handheld for portable UHF and VHF work. We have lots of repeaters in the Utah Valleys and the 6R works fine.
