Biography
Thanks for stopping by! II passed the Technician and General exams in one sitting, receiving call KG5JNP on 10/01/2015. I then passed the Extra exam and obtained vanity call KB5TB on 11/17/2015. I logged 7,230 QSOs with that call, then obtained my current call, K6TB, on 12/21/2018. I have Volunteer Examiner accreditation from the ARRL and W5YI.
Before moving to a new QTH, my station consisted of an Icom 7410 driving an Icom AH-4 tuner, which had attached to it about 43 feet of wire in my attic. Have yet to decide on whether to go with an attic setup again here at the new QTH, or something outside. I have enjoyed making many contacts on FT8/4, JT65/9 and PSK31/63, as well as RTTY (FSK), Olivia, and Contestia. A Kenwood TM-281a into a copper J-pole gets the job done for local comms.

I use electronic QSLs, but really enjoy paper QSL cards, too. I will gladly mail out a QSL card if I should happen to receive one from you, or if I see on your page that you like direct QSL.
