Biography

First licensed in 1950 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as WN9UEK. Upgraded to General Class in 1951 to W9UEK. Moved to California in 1955. Became K6DTX in Palo Alto, Calif. Owned and operated Shaver Radio, Inc., a Ham Radio Store, in Campbell, Calif. for 25 years until retiring in 2000. Married for 48 years to wife Carole. Two children, Robyn and Steven and 4 Grandchildren. Celebrates 78th Birthday on June 25th, 2015. 65 Years an active Ham. Masters degree in 1970 in Radio & Television from San Jose State University.
