Biography

I am a semi-retired I & C (instrument and controls) engineer. Now teaching 2nd year labs in the EE department at my alma mater Cal Poly State Univ. Live on the south edge of Morro Bay. Other interests are racing pigeons and fishing.

My rig is currently - ANAN-100B on HF and Baofeng hand-held for VHF/UHF. I use a small loop antenna with LZ1AQ preamp for rx. For tx, its a MFJ STLoop on 40m-15m and a RG-6 spiral for 160m-60m and 12m-6m . Hope to put up a beam for 12m - 6m and up next.
