Biography

Marital Status
Married
I have 3 sons and a favorite daughter.
Retired Telecommunications engineer worked on Microwave systems. Started in 1953 as KN6ANP, Novice Class License. My main radio interest is HF DXing and contesting and I favor CW. I'm finding FT8 is taking charge so I do a fair amount of time with it. My QTH is located on 4 1/2 acres in Sonoma County about forty-five miles north of San Francisco.

Clubs:
Redwood Empire DX Association, Northern California DX Club, Northern California Contest Club, I support the Northern California DX Foundation.

Accomplishment(s)
1 Honor Role & 5 band DXCC

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Flex 6600M, Flex Power genius,

Two towers one with a five-element 20-meter yagi & three-element40-meter yagi. The other tower has
a log-periodic 10, 15 plus all the WARC bands. There are two full-size delta loops for 80 & 160.

I made the console in the photo of my shack. It is made with maple veneer and walnut trim. My other hobby is woodworking and woodturning
