Biography

I only operate qrp on 60 and 30 meters. I am always looking fir skeds. I am a very active member of the qrp ARCI and very active in the awards program. I hold the first qrp ARCI 60 meter was and WAC. I have the first 60 meter grid square award and my total now is at 368.

I hold the 30 meter qrp ARCI was, WAC, dxawaed , grid square award and my total grids now on 30 meters are 395.

I am always qrp. I operate ssb and cw and love collecting, repairing and restoring vibroplex keys and bugs.

Equipment

Phased array of verticals on 30 meters with 240 ground radials

60 meter vertical fed with 120 ground radials

5 separate 60 meter receive antennas with preamp at feed point, 4 directional and 1 Omni- directional

30 meter VEE beans switchable from tower

All antennas fed with 1/2" heliax

Separate ICOM 7000 for each band and an ICOM 7000 in my mobile with a Tarheel 200 antenna and memory control with a vibroplex straight key because of rough roads

The ICOM 7000 are always run at 5 watts or less even mobile or on ssb.
