I now have a QRP Logbook and if I make a contact with you under the call K4OIW/QRP I am running a maximum power of 5 watts. I have dedicated my Icom 7300 to QRP Mode. It is thrilling to just see how many contacts I can make at this power setting.
I now have 50 of the 50 States confirmed and 53 Countries. When I complete the 50 States I will make it more interesting. I will go to 1 watt and go for the 50 state again.
**Starting September 1st, I will be dropping to 1 watt for all my QRP contacts. My call will be K4OIW/QRP1W. For those who have received my "Cheshire Cat" QSL be on the lookout for my new design. Let me just say it will resonate with all the hams awaitting their QSO confirmations...LOL
If you want to setup a contact time with me just drop me a email. I will be happy to try to work somethung outwith you.
Starting December 29, 2024I have dropped my power to 500mW. My call will be K4OIW/500mW. I am waitting to see how long it takes me to get all 50 states. I am in the process to make a QSL for the 500mW.
