Biography

Received novice license in 1959 at age of 11, general in 1960, and amateur extra in 1975. I am a certified volunteer examiner through ARRL. I have been a net control on a number of HF nets. Favorite mode is CW, but also operate SSB, FM. AM, PSK, and RTTY. My favorite contest is the ARRL DX CW in February. Am currently entering old logs to LOTW from 1960's, and have a lot of catching up to do. When I have time, it is fun to ragchew with old friends on the air as well as making new ones. I currently serve as EC for Greensville County and the City of Emporia.
