Biography

I operate CW only and QRP only using 160 through 6 meters. My current rig is an ICOM705. Previous main rig was an Elecraft KX3. My antennas are simple - an attic random wire, an attic 20M dipole, an attic 6M dipole, a 15M vertical dipole that also works 17M and 12M, and finally a sloping 10M dipole on my porch roof.
I am a former Vice-President of the North American QRP CW Club which now has over 10,000 members. The club web site is at http://naqcc.info/. Membership is FREE.
I am also proud to be a member of FISTS, and a former writer of the QRP column for the FISTS Keynote news magazine.
I am also a member of QRP ARCI and belong to their QRP Hall of Fame.
I've worked 225+ DX entities, all continents, all US states, and all but 4 of the 40 CQ zones, all with the above setup.

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
