Biography

Started in Ham Radio at age 11 in 1962. CB before that!
Lived in Bronx, NY Novice call was WN2UIG
Upgraded to General with callsign WA2BCY
Went to Lafayette College in Easton, Pa and in 1973 moved to Philadelphia to attend dental school at Univ of Pennsylvania
Changed callsign to WA3VJJ
Upgraded to Amateur Extra and changed call sign to AK3M
When vanity call sign became available became K3HR

I live in an antenna restricted community so I operate stealth at night with Hamstik rotatable dipoles that I quickly put up on 30 foot fiberglass pole. Works great!

I spend many weekends on Long Beach Island, NJ and operate a lot from there. FM29wr
I have a ground mounted Hustler 6BTV and Yagi's for 6, 2, and 432

Enjoy the sun, sailing, skiing and the beach.
