Biography

Licensed May 1960 as KN1SHR. Served in the USAF, worked 37 years as a Field Service Engineer for 3M Co. Retired in 2003. Owns a Post retirement business The Yankee Woodsmith. Interest are Ham radio, Martial Arts, Photography, Wood working, Fishing. Hiking, organic Gardening, Cooking; Skilled in 6 international cuisines. Enjoys CW on 40 meters and rag chewing on 10 and 17 meters.

Equipment

A pair of Kenwood TS430S, Icom 718, MFJ antenna tuner, assorted two meter rigs and a lot of this and that. 65 foot Rohn tower with mono banders on 10,15, 20 and 2 meters. A WARC tribander, and two rotatable dipoles one for WARC bands and one on 20 meters, assorted dipoles and home brewed antennas.
