Biography

First licensed in 1960 as KN1PES upgraded to General by the end of the year and now I have the Extra Class. I was very active in the 60s and 70s but then got away from the hobby while raising a family and running a business.

I got back in to Ham Radio in 2020 and have been building a station ever since. I love the high bands and CW but the new equipment is so much better than what we had back in the 60s I am amazed every day by something new and exciting.

I have met a whole new group of Hams since getting back on the air but just as it was sixty plus years ago, everyone is super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

I’m just glad to be back.
