Biography

My father was a radio/gunner in the SBD Dauntless during WW2 with the Marine 1st Air Wing VMSB 241 Sons of Satan….Found his leather flight jacket and helmet in the basement along with his headphones when I was about 9 yo…I used the headphones with a Hallicrafter S-120 my uncle gave me and got hooked on SWL in the early 60’s…. While in college a local radio club offered a class for the novice license….. In ‘75 I was given WN1ULK….’77 WA1ULK…. ‘04 my present call K1LK…..Retired now so more radio time in between time with 6 grandchildren….73
