Biography
Welcome to my Page
Since 1993 I am licensed amateur. A long time ago I was not working on the amateur bands. In 1993 I got my first callsign DG3ABT, the former class "C" in Germany with privileges only on VHF and UHF Bands. Later than I pass the "slow" CW-Exam and get my former class "A" License with DH4AAM, wich ends up with the "faster" CW-Exam and the former class "B" License with full privileges on the bands. My former Callsign was DL6ABR. Since 2004 I was inactive and I sell all my equipment.
Since July 2023 I have changed my German callsign to DJ1JR as I reactivate my radio license.
In September 2023 I have passed the exam for the american technician class license. In October 2023 I have passed the exam for the General Class License. In January 2024 I have earned my Extra Class license. My US callsign is K1JHR, my previous callsign was KD9YZK.
I am not member of DARC, so I can receive and send QSL only electronical or - if you want a paper QSL, send me your QSL and a SAE, I need no money to send my QSL back to you.
I prefer QSL via QRZ or LoTW. I am sending only paper QSL on request!
After a digital mode QSO I upload the confirmation to QRZ, Clublog and eQSL.cc directly.
Upload to LoTW mostly once a working day.
In CW or SSB I upload direct to QRZ. The upload to Clublog eQSL.cc and LoTW mostly once a working day.
A confirmation of a QSO is the “crown” to every QSO.
I'm also happy about any confirmation. In principle, I do not pay for an electronic confirmation.
I generally upload my confirmations free of charge and expect the same from the QSO partner.
I am happy to donate voluntarily at DXPeditions and special stations.
*** You can not send me QSL via bureau *** I have no DOK ***
I am foreign member of ARRL, EFA (Eisenbahn Funkamateure) and FIRAC (Fédération internationale des radioamateurs cheminots).
My working bands are 160m to 10m, 6m in CW, SSB, FT8 and 2m, 70cm in CW, SSB, FM, DMR.
