Biography

Retired from TWA airlines as a mechanic. I hang out mostly on 17 meter band when it is open. I do look at 15 and 12 plus 10 meters to see if any propagation is possible.
Being retired the time sure passes by pretty fast. My age is 79 been a ham since about 1955. joined the Air Force in the early 60's Spent 4 years there, when I got out of the service I said to myself I would pick you know what with the chickens before I ever worked on another airplane, well 4 years after being out of the air force and working on fighter planes I did what I said I would never do again, that is right spent 27 years working on planes for TWA. Hope to be around for the next solar cycle and hope it is better than it is in winter of 2015.

Kenwood TS-2000, Antenna is a 3 element beam up about 48 feet on a tower.
