Biography
Hi All
I got my license in 1977.
First, I began QRV at 50 MHz.
After a while, I became fascinated with assembling radios and drifted away from radio communication.
I returned to Ham in 1996 and began QRV radio waves.
At that time, I was interested in the SHF band and was QRV from 2.4 GHz to 24 GHz.
After a few years' hiatus, I decided to take up HF band again.
I've always loved CW, so I didn't hesitate to return to the CW field.
I have been QRVing in the contest since 2022.
Thanks to the Cycle 25th, radio waves were reaching overseas well, but I've been noticing that propagation has been deteriorating since around Oct. 2025.
The two Vibroplex are functioning properly; one is used for high-speed applications and the other for low-speed applications.
However, I have practiced operating the Begali-mono and have not yet deployed it in actual use.
I've become fascinated by CW, so I want to enjoy it for a while.
Thank you,
JK1QDZ
