Biography
Hi there! I got back on the air in 2025 after many decades QRT (off the air).
Back in my school days, I really enjoyed DXing on 7 MHz (40m) and 21 MHz (15m) using classic Trio (now Kenwood) rigs. Unfortunately, most of my old ham friends are no longer active, so I'm looking forward to making new contacts!
Rigs:
Yaesu FT-710
Yaesu FT-891M (Mainly for mobile/portable operation)
Yaesu FT-5D (Handheld, WIRES-X)
Antenna: Currently using a V-dipole made from mobile whip antennas for HF bands.
On the Air
You can mainly find me on:
HF: 7 MHz (40m) 14 MHz (20m) and 21 MHz (15m)
UHF: 430 MHz (70cm)
My favorite modes are:
My very first QSO after getting my license back was on FT8. It really made me realize how much technology has changed in amateur radio!
Right now, I'm focused on getting my CW (Morse code) skills back up to speed and exploring different ham radio software.

Future Plans
I'm excited to try POTA (Parks on the Air) activations in the near future.
Looking forward to operating from the great outdoors!
Other Interests
Outside of radio, I have fond memories of studying abroad in Indonesia and Singapore during my university years.
Saya bisa berbahasa Indonesia! (I can speak Indonesian/Malay).
Feel free to chat in Indonesian if you speak it too!
