Hi there, and thanks for visiting my profile!

My call sign is JJ0XUX, and I'm currently 14 years old. I got into amateur radio in my second year of junior high school and have been operating from Suzaka City, Nagano, Japan ever since. I've been hooked on it from the very beginning.

Recently, I've been enjoying making contacts on the 3.5, 7, and 21 MHz bands with my newly set-up wire antennas. These antennas were built for me by a fellow amateur radio operator (OM), and it's been a fun challenge to tune them and get the best performance. In the future, I'm hoping to build my own antennas for other bands.

I split my time equally between CW and SSB, and my current goal is to make contact with every city in Japan. While I mainly operate from home, I'm looking forward to trying out some portable HF operations one day, especially from a mountaintop.

When I'm not on the radio, I enjoy programming and electronics, and I'm always thinking of ways to combine these hobbies with amateur radio. I also hope to one day meet up with fellow hams from overseas in person.

My Ham Radio Journey



Aug 20, 2024: Obtained my Fourth-Class Amateur Radio Operator license.

Sep 20, 2024: Started operating with a handheld radio and got my call sign, JJ0XUX.

Jun 6, 2025: Licensed my CB radio station, Nagano CL320.

Jun 2025: Decided to upgrade my license to operate CW, which I've always been interested in.

Jul 11, 2025: Passed my Third-Class Amateur Radio Operator exam.

Jul 20, 2025: Purchased a used 144/430 MHz mobile transceiver with 10W output.

Aug 4, 2025: Made my first CW contact with the special event station for the Osaka-Kansai Expo (8K3EXPO).

Aug 15, 2025: Joined the Nagano Amateur Radio Club (JR0ZGJ).

Aug 16, 2025: Was given an HF transceiver (IC-703) by 7K1XJY.

Aug 16, 2025: Made my first HF contact from my home station, using a mobile whip antenna.

Aug 22, 2025: Installed wire antennas for the 3.5, 7, and 21 MHz bands.

Aug 22, 2025: Began operating on HF with my new wire antennas.

Sep 20, 2025:It's the one-year anniversary of my station's operation.

Apr 25,2026: Installed a triple-band ground plane antenna (X5000) for 144/430/1200MHz.

コールサインはJJ0XUXで、 長野県須坂市から運用しています。

私は現在15歳で、13歳の時にアマチュア無線と出会い、以来、アマチュア無線を楽しんでいます！

最近は、3.5MHz、7MHz、21MHzのワイヤーアンテナを張り、各バンドでの交信を楽しんでいます。

アンテナはOMさんに作って頂いたワイヤーアンテナを使用しています。今後は他のバンドのアンテナも自作してみたいと思っています。

HFの運用はCWとSSBが半々くらいで、今の目標は日本の全ての市と群と交信することです。自宅からの運用がメインですが、HF帯の移動運用も時々します。

無線以外では、プログラミングや電子工作も趣味で、無線と組み合わせて何か面白いことができないかと考えています。そして、いつか海外のハム仲間と現地で会ってみたいです。

各バンドで皆さんにお会いできるのを楽しみにしています！

経歴

2024年8月20日: 第四級アマチュア無線技士に合格

2024年9月20日: ハンディー機1台でJJ0XUXとして開局

2025年6月6日: CB無線局「ながのCL320」を開局

2025年6月: CW（モールス通信）への憧れから、第三級アマチュア無線技士の取得を決意

2025年7月11日: 第三級アマチュア無線技士に合格

2025年7月20日: 144/430MHz帯の10Wモービル機を中古で購入

2025年8月4日: 大阪・関西万博特別記念局（8K3EXPO）のゲスト運用でCWデビュー

2025年8月15日: 長野アマチュア無線クラブ（JR0ZGJ）に入会

2025年8月16日: 7K1XJY様よりHF機（IC-703）を譲っていただく

2025年8月16日: 常置場所からモービルホイップで初のHF運用

2025年8月22日: 3.5, 7, 21MHzの片側給電ワイヤーアンテナを設置

2025年8月22日: 新しいワイヤーアンテナでのHF運用を開始

2025年9月20日:開局1周年!

2026年4月25日:144/430/1200MHzのGP(X5000)を設置。
