| Biography Hello everyone.
My name is Hajime Taguchi. (My handle name is "jim")
I was born in 1955 and am now a retired old man.
I started an amateur radio station in 1971 and have been operating it ever since.
(I did QRT for about 10 years in between)
I live in Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture.
Nakatsugawa City is located in a mountainous area about 200km west of Tokyo, the capital of Japan.
And the nearest big city is Nagoya.
Unfortunately, I don't have a beam antenna or tower.
Therefore, it's not a good environment to operate amateur radio.
The only powerful weapon I have is a screwdriver antenna.
Well, it's like a mobile station.
I'm using this antenna to operate the HF band, but the radio waves don't reach the other party as I would like.
Please don't ignore my weak signal, pick it up.
I'm looking forward to radio communication.
