Biography

My name is George Tanaka.
He was born in 1952 and grew up in Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture.
His amateur radio license was obtained in 1969.
He built his own radio, built the transmitter for the final tube 807, and started airing it.
In 1973 he moved to Uji, where he currently resides.
In 1974 he passed the First Class Amateur Radio Operator.
In 2004 he built a 23M motor driven tower.
Antenna hTribander 4-element Yagi antenna and 6-meter 7-element Yagi antenna are used. I used Kenwood TS950-SDX and IC-706MKII for CW operation.
2022 Yaesu FTdx-101MP has started FT8 operation.
I am looking forward to the day when I can QSO with you.
