Biography

I was born in Rome where I'm actually living with my family, but for 16 years I enjoyed the Italian Navy as Radio Operator and Electronic Warfare operator. I enjoy radio for passion from many years and just from 1996 I took my license with call sign IZ0AIO.

Normally I like CW and in the short time I have to enjoy the radio 99% I use with CW, but recently, I discover again the SSB traffic and I'm enjoying it too. Not a big lover of digital modes because of time and station, but sometimes I think about...

Yaesu FT857 with Yaesu FC-30 automatic antenna tuner, 2 Diamond 10-80mt dipole, plus Yaesu FT1802 for VHF and a small dual band TRX for VHF and UHF, plus two Yaesu VX5R (I really love those two...), a vertical antenna Diamond X30N and a Tonna 9el orizontal, a Kent paddle, a couple of small chinese RTX for escursions and more and less 10 small antennas SMA M.
