Biography

Hello everyone my name is Mauro. I live in Mariano Comense, a small town in the province of Como (about 10 km from the Swiss border) and near to the famous lake made famous not only for its beauty but also for the famous novel "I Promessi Sposi" written by Alessandro Manzoni and be the birthplace of Alessandro Volta!
I currently use an Yaesu FT 991a for HF frequencies,50 mhz and 2 meters band.

My antenna set-up is as follows: Yagi directive 7 elements for the 2 meter band, a Prosistel dipole PST-1524tv for the bands of 6-10-15-20-40 meters, a dipole V inverted for the band of the 80 meters and ATAS 25 antenna or endfed for QRP.
I like travel, strictly whit my motorcycle BMW R1200 GS with it and my wife Betty (IU2IIP) we visit the European States. 73 TO ALL!
