Biography

I had my first meeting with the radio at the age of 8 listening an army radio operator, who was a my father's friend and radio amateur. In the teens I worked in the CB and up to thirty years ago in dxing on the 27Mhz band connecting more than 200 different countries. I was then inactive for more than twenty years due to work and housing problems, but I recently got the amateur radio license. In addition to experimenting with the construction of antennas, I dedicate myself to the radio-listening activity (BCL) and QRP.
I live in Cassino, more or less halfway between Rome and Naples in mid south part of Italy. Cassino is famous all over the world for its Abbey founded by Saint Benedict in 529 AD (you can see it on my QSL).
I really like playing, reading and traveling too. I work as a teacher in a high school in the area.
