Biography

73 to all visitors and many thank's for visit my QRZCQ page.

I am work in telecommunications company my sector it's SHF and EHF wave, I reside and work in est europe, returning to Italy ( Rome ) for short periods, radio enthusiast since 1982. I'm started in City Band with Lafayette HB23 at only 14 years, I carry my passion for radio wherever I go with a little IC7000 and a wire antenna.

My radio philosophy is experimentation and listening to be heard

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

My working conditions are modest but functional.

HF Radio: Yaesu FT920 max 100 Watts with MD 100 Microfone;
Icom IC7000 max 100 Watts with SM 20 microfone

Antenna turner Daiwa CNW-419

VHF base station old Kenwood TS711 max 30 Watts with MC 60 Microfone in these conditions in VHF I have excellent results on direct connections

Because i have a small spaces all antennas are self-built and use on FT920 a dipole Diamond W8510 from 1.8 Mhz to 30 Mhz with a traps

for IC7000 use a vertical antenna for 6/10/15/20 meters and HF eco wire when travelling and or 8 elements directive antennas project Yagi 5 elements VHF/UHF

TS711 with a vertical aluminium dipole for VHF
or 8 elements directive antennas project Yagi

All radios are interfaced with an Imac for transmissions in digital mode but I prefer voice or old CW connections without amplifiers.
