Born in 1964, SWL since late 70s to early 90s, only sporadic activity between 1992 to 2012, in November 2012 installed again my radio shack.
Since international broadcasting radio stations are more and more discontinuing their programs on short waves, I turned my listening activities to utility radio stations (TS, Coastal, GMDSS, HF-FAX, NDB, Navtex, DGPS, etc...), and HAM stations in digital modes and CW. Although my log book is mostly with HF activities, I spend most of my radio time in LW and VLF monitoring,
JT65/JT9/WSPR/QRSS and PSK reception is mostly unattended: time by time i check "what's going on" through remote computer.
I like a lot monitoring RTTY contests.
