Biography

I was born in 1970 and since the age of 12 I have always been fascinated by the world of radio.

I received a small walky-talky as a gift, and I remember with pleasure the label with the Morse code.

After a period in the CB, in 1993 I got my call IK2WAD.

From 1993 to 1998 I was very active, especially in the contest.

In 1998, the story changes, and the passion falls but does not go out.

I find other interests, other hobbies, but the Marconian wood remains inside me.

The break ends in 2010, when I resume the activity radio.

My station is Yaesu FT2000D + P.A Swan Mark II + microKeyer III & Kenwood TS850S and my vertical antenna is home made (80 - 10 Mt).
The software for log and digital mode is BBlogger.

For portable activity the rtx is Icom IC706 MKIIG (HF+ 50 Mhz + 144 + 430 Mhz) and sofware is QARtest by Ik3qar Paolo

In 2016 I had the pleasure of joining the IB9T Contest Team thanks to IT9BLB Joe ( My Sicilian brother !!).
In 2018 I joined the FISTS with the number #18599.

I do 90% of my activity on CW.
