In the context of historical events, commemorations organized this year for the celebration of the seventieth anniversary of the Allied landings in Sicily, ARI sections of Catania and Acireale organize and present the diploma for the year 2013 dedicated to the "70th Anniversary of Operation HUSKY"


Period:from Wednesday, July 10, 2013 until Saturday, August 17, 2013;

Bands and modes of issue:from 160 to 2 meters (WARC included) in SSB, CW and digital modes in accordance with the band plan;

QSO:For the purposes of the diploma each station may be worked only once per band and mode of emission.The QSO on bands or different ways with the same station can not be made unless at least 30 minutes have elapsed from the previous QSO with the same station.

Goal:achieve the highest score

Reports:for the validity of the contacts is sufficient exchange of CALL and RST;

Ratings:
- QSO with members of the ARI sections of Catania and Acireale in Sicily or other accredited OM (activators) which will call "CQ 70th anniversary HUSKY or operation of the Allied landings in Sicily": 2 points;
- QSO with stations of the sections club organizers IQ9BFandIQ9DE: 5 points;
- QSO with stations operated in handset (activators) at the historical sites (which will call "CQ 70th anniversary of the Allied landings or operation HUSKY in Sicily) indicating the reference site: 10 points; (list of sites click here)
- QSO with the station special commemorative II9HY: 15 points;

QSL and diploma:Links with the special station II9HY will be confirmed with QSL via bureau or LoTW.
The diploma will be issued to stations that have achieved a minimum of 50 points.
Requests must be submitted on-line by the relevant page of the site EnzoLog or the award manager, Oscar Policastro IT9ITT preferably via e-mail at oscar.policastro@tin.it.
At the request should be attached the log extract (only in the case of e-mail) and the receipt for the sum of € 5.00 payable via Paypal to enzolog@enzolog.org.
The award will be issued to those (Hunters) that scored a minimum of 50 points will require sending hard copy upon payment of the sum, adding the shipping costs.By achieving 70 points you can download in electronic format (PDF) sparing then the shipping costs.
