I am a member of the Mountain QRP Club "MQC", Summits on the Air "SOTA UK", Parks On The Air "POTA" and of the Italian Radio Amateurs Association "ARI". Amateur radio since 1979, technical studies and always passionate about radio. Currently IT Manager in two motorway companies.

I am mainly active in HF, SSB - CW - FT8/4 - JS8Call - VarAC and V-UHF SSB and FM (R1 145.625 IR5H Livorno), POTA - AWARDS MQC - SOTA, digital C4FM & DMR - QRV TG 2241 (Toscana) and 22292 (national multi protocol Italy). ISS Packet/APRS and FM transponder.

I have three radios that I do outdoor activations with, two Yaesu, one FT-857D and the other FT-897D, plus an Icom IC-705

My other radios are: Yaesu FT-991A, Kenwood TS-850S AT, Yaesu FTM-400XDE, Yaesu FTM-100D, Tytera MD-9600 with OpenGD77 FW, and a POC radio Motorola Lex C10.

I also have a small "collection" of handheld radios, some "vintage" and others with FW mod that I am fond of, this is the list in continuous evolution: Yaesu FT-5DE, Yaesu FT-3D, Yaesu VX-8G, Yaesu VX-8, Yaesu VX-7R, Tytera MD-UV380 GPS, Tytera MD-UV390 GPS, Retevis RT3S, these last three all with OpenGD77 FW, VGC VR-N76, 4 Quansheng UV-K5 ( 2 with FW mod by IJV and 2 with Prepper FW), TIDRADIO TD-H3, radtel RT-890.
