Biography

Born in Venice, 1943. Chemist. SWL (call i1 10869)since 1961 and OM with i1GKK call since 1962, then i3GKK ( 1972). ARI Honor Roll since 2002. My 1st QSO, 1963 February, 14th, on 14 Mhz, A3, with home made transmitter with 807 final, R 107 receiver, Hertz antenna. Since 1963, July,I build my first 20 m Cubical Quad. During 1964, carry out, with i3 VAD the "Serenissima Award" in Venice ARI Section and, since 1982 I'm the manager. My 1st interest in Amateur Radio are the antennas, especially Cubical Quad.I build a very large number of different CQ types in decametric, 6 and 2 meters. Retired since October 2001, I'm working as consultant in Perfumery, Cosmetic and Detergency fields.

Equipment

My actual station is composed of Elekraft K3+ SPE K1 FA linear amplifier for decametric and 50 MHz, FT 736R + 4X150 h.m. linear amplifier for 2 mt. Antennas: h.m. Skywire 80-6 m, h.m. CQ 6 el for 2 mt .
