Biography

Hi to all,

My name is Miguel, Mike, for DXing. I was born on december 04, 1955 and married since 1981 with the same wonderfull woman, Berkis (HI7BFC). We have two sons and one daugther, they are 35, 33 and 23 years old.

I started in radio world in early 1987 (Barahona City), in Citizen Band, as many hams in Dominican Republic. Introduced by Domingo García "Loco Mecánico" (Crazy Mechanic), now SK.
First licenced tecnician on oct. 19, 1989 as HI5MCW in Barahona city, 200 kilometers southwestern Santo Domingo, capital city in Dominican Republic. In 2005 I moved to La Romana, 100 kilometers eastern Santo Domingo, and change my callsign to HI7MCW. In march 24, 2009 I upgraded my licence to general and change to HI7MC.

Normally I work on phone and digital modes.
