Biography

Constantino Carlo "Tino" HI3CC

When I was 13 years old I obtained my first radio license, it was for 11 meters my call letters were HICCP-210. My handle was Black Mouth. With a great deal of enthusiasm in 1993 I received my first amateur call sign, "HI3NIB" Since this was a Novice Class license my privileges were limited too CW. In 1994 I helped to install 4 VHF and UHF repeaters of which 1 is currently still in operation. In 1995 I received my next upgrade to Technician with the call HI3CCP. My dream at this time was to construct a true world class amateur radio station. In 1998 I located and excellent spot for my dream station. In the community of Amacelles Moca. The altitude is 1084 meters above sea level with a temperature range of 18-25 C in the summer and 10-16 C in the winter. It is called "Loma Del Toro" The Hill of the Bull. In the Dominican Republic a new beginning of Ham Radio was born. In 2010 I upgraded to General and received my current call of HI3CC.
