Biography

I am a sixty-nine year old just retired interventional radiologist and passed my swiss radio licence in March 2018.
VHF-UHF I use an Icom 9700 with yagi type antennas, only active on repeaters.
Since May nine of 2023, I started on Es'Heil-2, using the 9700 in combination with Kuhne Up and Down converters, and a parabola.
Consequently I am a for the time being a greenhorn on the satellite, thank you for your patience with me!
Very occasionally on HF 40 and 80m, equipment Flexradio 6600M, Expert 1.5K, Palstar HF Auto tuner with a heavily modified Levy type antenna.

My QTH is the skiing resort of Verbier in the canton of Wallis in Switzerland.
My other interests are birding, Beethoven, microscopy, mathematics and astrophysics, flightsimming.

I practice the hobby to meet and get to know people, I am not at all a technophile and not interested in records of any kind!

Equipment

As for now I use a Flexradio 6600M, SPE Expert 1.5, Palstar HF Auto tuner for a heavily modified Levy type antenna.

VHF-UHF I use an Icom 9700 with ANjo yagi type antennas.

On Oscar-100 the 9700 in combination with Kuhne Up and Down converters, and a parabola.

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
