Biography

Hi ...
My name is Franco, I'm 65 years old. I live in the south of Switzerland, in the region "Cantone Ticino", precisely, in a little village called Cadenazzo, near to Bellinzona and Locarno. My passion for the radio began at the age of 25 years with CB. With my old friend Giuseppe HB9SUA (now Silent Key), the interest for this hobby became more important. In 2006 I received my amateur radio licence with the callsign HB3YOR (Now it has been assigned to an other OM). Afterwards, with the Tera Radio Club, I prepared my great final exam . Now I'm HB9EDG and I'm very happy!

Vy 73.

If you are holding an amateur radio callsign that has EDG as suffix,
please don't hesitate to contact me! (hb9edg@ticino.com)
I will be honored to give you an official EDG's Club number.
