Biography

Hi dear OM,

My name is Gellért. I was born in 2002 at Vác, so I'm a pretty young operator.
My first meeting with radios was in 2016, on a hike at Naszály (summit, asl. 653m). My friend, Gábor brought two little PMR radio. This started my PMR career...HI.
Once, I decided to build a simple crystal radio. I've always stumbled on the word "radio amateur", and was wondering what does that mean, so I started reading...
Until I met HA7XK Laci. He brought me to HA7KRE, the radioamateur club station at Vác. And I got stuck there...Hi
I got licensed in the May of 2018. After some week, I got HA7AR, as my first callsign.

My favourite mode is CW. I'm a big fan of electronics, soldering circuits.

A like operating from the nature, especially from summits, SOTA activations too. This is the reason why you can hear me most times with /P suffix. :)
I am a scout too, and an active member of the hungarian JOTA/JOTI group.

One of my future goals is to get into Amateur Satellite Services...

After highschool I want to study electrical engeneering and deal with small satellites's contructions (cubestas, picosatellites).

I sometimes operate with these callsigns: HA7KRE, HA5N,

#QRP #YOTA #JOTA/JOTI #SOTA

Mni tks to:
HA7XK, HA7SG, HA5CQZ, HA5JA, HA6PX!

I hope to meet you in the bands!
73/88 DX de HA7AR op. Gellért
